Footnotes

*Special thanks to Jim Duber for his online assistance preparing
the "Shock" version of "Word to Web".
1Crispin is preparing a 1996 version which should be ready by the
summer.
2The first class project might be the posting of a request for information
on the list, or a search of the list's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). The instructor could prepare a set of questions dealing with the course content that can be answered in a FAQ search. Alternatively, a short lecture or discussion could generate questions the students might want to post. One or two students at most should post during the first session to maintain good will on the list, but what questions to post should be the product of a group discussion.
