Assassination of public liberties, that they maintain in Italy under their plans".

From this paragraph, the only one that, probably, he wrote seriously, is the line "assassination of public liberties". The rest smells of revolutionary humor: anrcho-jokes.

In the same wire, it is affirmed: "The evils attributed to the government of Mr. Mussolini are not specifically fascist nor are they specifically Italian: they are the evils that have always been found in the abysmal dark of the human heart". Fascism was born in Italy and had its ultimate admirer in Benito Mussolini. He was born and raised in Italy and he never left the country. He was a specific invention. It's necessary then to understand the reverse of the paragraph. Put another way, it lacks feeling.

Add that fascism maintains itself based on activity and not words.

Roberto Bracco, nonetheless, is sure that fascism maintains itself based on castor oil...

And another emigrant writer says that while Mr. Carlo Enba, accomplice of the regime, is alive, Mussolini will assuredly have his restoration...

Posthumous Speech of Arturo Cancela

On the occasion of a catcall made by students to a colonel who had entered the Faculty of Law to give a lecture about ballistics and strategy, Arturo Cancela, from the columns of "The Nation", skewered the insurgents with nine and a half columns of Socratic words.

The first error of Arturo Cancela, in our opinion, consisted of approaching a subject of the 20th century with the criterion of a thinker who lived four hundred years before the Christian era. From Socrates to Spengler much has rained down on the field of philosophy and there has been a spring cleaning of anachronistic concepts. Beyond cleaning, there was a kind of massacre, where almost all the lice of tradition were killed off.

In the days of Socrates, for example, Aristotle said, "that nature had made men in two ways: some were made as slaves, to obey, and others were made free, to give orders". He added "that women owe an absolute subjection to men, and that the authority of the father was also absolute, being able, in cases considered convenient, to kill a child".

The opinion of the Greeks of antiquity differed fundamentally from ours, by way that were are unable to take them, in this line of philosophical thinking, as models. They weren't cut from the foundation we were cut from, and know this: that all men are made with the same duties; but rather nature divides them, having made some free, and others, who for the same reasons, the common mother gave birth to slaves. It is apparent that the great Greek thinkers had an opinion of the human race quite like that of a slave driver. As well, they supposed that all those that were not born in Greece were "barbarians".

We can admire Greece's qualities, but not her defects. Every époque has it logic. The mind of a man grows through
